1. Who we are
Captain Walt's Guide (captainwaltsguide.com) is operated by an independent digital publisher based in Montenegro. You can reach us at support@captainwaltsguide.com.
2. What you're buying
"Home Alone in Winter" is a digital product: downloadable PDF files (a standard edition, a large-print edition and printable checklists). No physical item is shipped.
3. Price and payment
The price is shown on our website at the time of purchase (currently $37 USD, one-time payment). Payments are processed by Creem, our online reseller and Merchant of Record, which also handles applicable sales tax/VAT, invoicing and delivery of your download. Creem's own terms apply to the payment.
4. Delivery
After successful payment, you receive an email with a download link. If you don't receive it, contact us and we will deliver the files manually.
5. Refunds
You may request a full refund within 30 days of purchase. See our Refund Policy.
6. License
Your purchase gives you a personal, non-transferable license to download, read and print the guide for yourself and your household. You may print as many copies of the checklists as your family needs and share printed copies with the people who look out for you. You may not resell, republish or distribute the files publicly.
7. Safety information disclaimer
The guide provides general home-safety information compiled from public guidance by agencies such as NFPA, the U.S. Fire Administration, the CDC, the National Institute on Aging, the American Red Cross and Ready.gov. It is not medical, legal, electrical or professional advice and does not replace your doctor, your local fire department, a licensed professional or your appliance manufacturer's instructions. In an emergency, call 911 (or your local emergency number).
8. About "Captain Walt"
Captain Walt Brennan is the narrator and storyteller of our YouTube channel and of this guide. His stories are used to make the lessons memorable.

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability relating to the guide is limited to the amount you paid for it.
